BIO: Sean Hakes is the Founder & CEO of the Colorado-based digital marketing agency, Altitude Agency.
Hakes started his career in online marketing in 2001 shortly before he launched a digital entertainment news publication in Denver known as Denver Access.
In 2006 Hakes was shot in the head during an accidental shooting just west of Fort Collins. He was airlifted to Poudre Valley Hospital where we underwent emergency surgery that ultimately saved his life.
Hakes started his second digital marketing agency in 2010, Denver SEO, Inc which he later sold in 2011 to an investment group out of Boise, ID. The investment group renamed the agency to ‘JEMSU‘ which is the name that it currently operates today, without affiliation to Hakes.
In 2016, Hakes formed Altitude SEO. Due to its substantial growth, and expansion of specialties outside of SEO, the agency created the parent company, Altitude Agency where Altitude SEO now is a product of.
Hakes is a Certified Private Pilot and enjoys flying, camping and spending time with his two younger kids and wife, Adriana whenever he has the chance to do so.
